• Child Mobile Crisis serves Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson Counties. The program provides one-time, in-person support for children and youth (under the age of 18) and their family to de-escalate a crisis event. Resources for follow-up care are also offered. Available 12 PM-7:30 PM, M-F by calling 1-800-970-5897.

• Bright Horizons Backup Care: Benefits-eligible UVA employees receive up to 15 back-up care days / year at UVA’s discounted rate. To access Bright Horizons Back-up Care Services, here’s what you need to do:
  • Pre-register with Bright Horizons here.
  • UVA Academic employees: If you are not already registered, use UVA (username) and backup8 (password) to log in for the first time. Click here to register. 
  • UVA Medical Center employees: If you are not already registered, use UVAMC (username) and care4you2 (password) to log in for the first time. Click here to register. 
  • Enter your credit card for payment (While this is required, please note that money is never exchanged at the time of care.)
  • Log into your account at backup.brighthorizons.com to make your reservation (schedule care up to 30 days in advance).
