Originally from the Jersey Shore, Mary Mulshine-Rosadina moved to Virginia in 1987. She began her education at Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) and later transferred to the University of Virginia School of Nursing, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 1991.
Her nursing career started at UVA Health, where she worked on 6 West both as a student and following graduation. During this time, she also worked night shifts at Martha Jefferson Hospital while raising her children. She went on to work as a Home Health nurse and later as an Intake Coordinator for Martha Jefferson Home Care, where she served for five years.
Mary expanded her expertise through roles at QualChoice and Southern Health, where she was responsible for providing authorizations for hospital stays. For the next decade, she worked as a Case Manager at UVA Health South Rehab Hospital (now UVA Encompass). This was followed by another 10 years at UVA Transitional Care Hospital, a long-term acute care facility (LTACH), where she continued as a Case Manager until 2022. During this time, she earned her Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification after passing the National Testing exam.
With deep knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance systems, Mary brings a wealth of expertise to her role in case management.
Outside of work, she enjoys walking, gardening, music, and dancing. She lives in Crozet with her husband, who is a talented musician. She also has four children—three daughters and a son—all of whom are now grown and thriving on their own.
