Tashia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined UVA Health in 2023. She brings a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. In her role, she looks forward to building strong therapeutic relationships that foster healing, growth, and resilience.

She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and family stress. Tashia creates a safe, non-judgmental space where her clients feel seen and supported. Her approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and empowerment, helping individuals develop practical coping skills and reconnect with their strengths. She is especially passionate about guiding others toward greater clarity, balance, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Tashia incorporates a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She also draws from family systems principles to support relationship and parenting challenges.

Outside of work, Tashia enjoys traveling, experiencing new foods, and spending time with family and friends.
