Cynthia began her career with the Population Health Department as a Wellness and Patient Advocate in 2016. She now serves as Administrative Assistant to Administrator, Novella Thompson, and in 2022, was promoted to Administrative Program Coordinator for External Affairs. She enjoys establishing supportive relationships with her patients and assisting in their recovery process. She also appreciates the opportunity to participate in a collaborative model of healthcare with internal and external partners.

Cynthia has a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy, is certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and has the highest level of certification with the Yoga Alliance. Cynthia has 26 years of experience teaching yoga and stress management strategies to groups and individuals, especially those who are challenged by pain or limited function. She also has experience in mental health work, special education, information technology, technical writing, and program promotion.
