Second Round Match Process 

Students should refer to the D&D Digital website at or after 12 p.m. EST (11 a.m. CST) the Wednesday following Match Day to confirm if the University of Virginia Health System Dietetic Internship has open spots available. If positions remain after the first round procedure, the University of Virginia Health System Dietetic Internship will implement the following procedure:

  1. Interested students must apply through DICAS starting the Wednesday follow Match Day beginning at 12 p.m. EST.
  2. Students may use an application already on file in DICAS to submit to the University of Virginia Health System. Students must pay any fees set by DICAS to submit an application.
  3. Students must review the Program Requirements and submit the electronic acknowledgement of the requirements (found at the bottom of Program Requirements webpage)  at the time of their application submission.
  4. Prior admission eligibility criteria apply to second round applicants.
  5.  Application fee is waived for Spring 2024 Match Cycle. 
    Students need to submit an application fee of $50 payable to Morrison Healthcare. This may be in the form of personal check, cashier check, or money order.

  6. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received.
  7. The University of Virginia Health System Dietetic Internship will accept applications until spaces are filled or applications are closed. Please check our website with the most up to date information.
  8. If a spot is offered, program leadership will contact the student via the primary email address and/or primary phone number listed on the DICAS application.
