Heartcode ACLS Anywhere

HeartCode ACLS Anywhere  is an official American Heart Association self-directed learning program utilizing micro-simulation.  The program consists of two parts.  Part 1 is a cognitive component that allows users to work through the ACLS curriculum at their own pace and complete both simulated mega codes and a written evaluation online.

To access Part 1 go to http://www.onlineaha.org/

Part 2 is the hands-on skills evaluation session and cost $125.00 for non-UVA students.  To schedule the hands-on skills evaluation contact the Life Support Learning Center at 434-982-1766 or email us at lslc@hscmail.mcc.virginia.edu

The program is intended for the experienced healthcare provider who finds traditional training courses inconvenient to schedule.  The program allows 32 hours to complete the entire ACLS program. Once completed the student has 60 days to have the hands on skill session.

BLS/CPR for the Healthcare provider is a pre-requisite to all ACLS courses. For more information or to register for a CPR course click here
