Amy Adams, PharmD, CCRP

Dr. Adams is Lead Pharmacist for Main Hospital Investigational Drug Services at UVA Health. Her practice includes many different areas in research including pediatrics, neurology, pediatric oncology, infectious disease, trauma, addiction, cardiology, endocrinology, transplant trials, anesthesiology, among others. Dr. Adams has served on the IRB at UVA for over 15 years.  Dr. Adams received her PharmD from Campbell University in North Carolina. She is a certified clinical research professional and has worked with clinical trials for over 20 years.

 

Lauren Benusa, PharmD, CCRP

Dr. Benusa is a pharmacist with Investigational Drug Services at the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center at UVA Health. Her practice is focused on adult oncology clinical trials. Dr. Benusa received her PharmD from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy in Richmond, Virginia.  She has served on UVA’s IRB for Health Sciences Research since 2014.  Dr. Benusa has also served on UVA Cancer Center’s Data Safety Monitoring Committee since 2014.  She is a certified clinical research professional and has worked with oncology clinical trials since 2013. 

 

Michele Campolieto, PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Campolieto is a pharmacist with Investigational Drug Services at the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center at UVA Health. Her practice is focused on adult oncology clinical trials. Dr. Campolieto received her PharmD from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and has practiced as a transplant clinical pharmacist and an outpatient oncology pharmacist. She has served on UVA’s IRB for Health Sciences Research since 2021.

 

Brittani Collins, MS, PharmD

Dr. Collins is a pharmacist with Investigational Drug Services in the Main Hospital at UVA Health. She received her PharmD from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy in Richmond, VA. Dr. Collins completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital.

 

Cameron Lee, PharmD

Dr. Lee is a pharmacist with Investigational Drug Services at the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center at UVA Health. Her practice is focused on adult oncology clinical trials. Dr. Lee received her PharmD from the Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, Alabama. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at UVA Health prior to joining the team.

 

Kyle Luedtke, PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Luedtke is Lead Pharmacist for the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center Investigational Drug Services at UVA Health. Her practice is focused on adult oncology clinical trials. Dr. Luedtke received her PharmD from Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy residency and PGY2 Critical Care residency at UVA Health, and practiced as a critical care clinical pharmacist before starting her career in investigational drugs in 2016. She has served on the IRB at UVA since 2016.

 

Chloé LeBegue-Polley, PharmD

Dr. LeBegue-Polley is an Investigational Drug Services pharmacist at Emily Couric Comprehensive Cancer Center. She practices in the setting of adult oncology clinical trials. Dr. LeBegue-Polley received both her BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences and her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. Prior to her position at UVA Health, Chloé served as Pharmacist-In-Charge (Compounding and Repackaging) at Prisma Health Upstate in Greenville, South Carolina. Her interests include live biotherapeutics, leadership and financial management.

 

Sarah Anthony, PharmD

Dr. Anthony is a pharmacist with Investigational Drug Services in the Main Hospital at UVA Health. She received her PharmD from Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy in Winchester, VA. Dr. Anthony completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, VA in 2010 and practiced as a Cardiology Clinical Pharmacist at UVA before starting her career in investigational drugs in 2024.

 

Rebecca Armstrong, PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Armstrong is a pharmacist with Investigational Drug Services in the Main Hospital at UVA Health. Her practice includes a variety of trials, including children’s oncology group trials. Dr. Armstrong received her PharmD from Wilkes University, completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at St. Luke’s Hospital, and is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. She has practiced as a critical care clinical pharmacist for 13 years prior to starting her career in investigational drug services in 2023.
