Our coordinator is Jon Howard, RN BSN NR-P CHSE. He is a Medical Emergency Education Coordinator for the Life Support Learning Center since November 2012. Previously, he was an UVa Emergency Department staff nurse (and still is, part-time), a financial analyst, and a math teacher. Kate Kasen, RN MBA BSN CEN is a simulationist at the Medical Emergency Simulation Area. She has been here since 2014. Her background is in emergency medicine (adult and pediatrics), prehospital medicine, neurology/neurosurgery/ENT ICU/stepdown, and primary care (adult and pediatrics).
