2022 UVA Heart Failure Symposium --- Saturday February 26th

The upcoming UVA Health Heart Failure Symposium is going to be virtual again this year.  We will again host this symposium the last Saturday in February (26th) as a web-based meeting.  We were hoping that COVID would have settled by the time of our meeting, but it is clear that Omicron had different plans.  So we made sure-fire decision to the provide this in virtual format.

Event Description:

This symposium brings together nurses, nurse practitioners, physical and occupational therapists and nutritionists who care for individuals with heart failure. With over 5 million individuals in the US with heart failure, many care providers in all healthcare settings are involved in managing this population. Care across the continuum and across disciplines is a central focus of the event.  From skilled facility staff to advanced practice nurses in the hospital, there is a take away for everyone. The 1-day symposium highlights topics and trends in heart failure care with expert presenters, free of charge and with CE provided. This has become an annual event in February, now in the 11th year.

"Thank you for offering the symposium virtually.  So grateful is wasn't cancelled. Thank you!
"Loved, Loved the virtual format combined with speaker call-in for Q & A. So much more efficient using the virtual platform. Please offer this next year this way!"
"This symposium being online, I felt it was done so professionally, the screen was not distracting with multiple faces and the technology team did an awesome job."
