Guy has served as a mental health therapist for the past 20 years in multiple settings: a state psychiatric hospital, a free medical clinic, a public school, several addiction recovery programs, private practices, and two Community Services Boards. He received his Master of Social Work from the University of Utah College of Social Work. He started work at UVA Health in 2021 in the Medicine HOME program.

Guy is committed to advocating for and empowering all clients – the advantaged and disadvantaged, people of every ethnicity, and individuals from young children to the elderly.

Guy is a passionate reader, classical musician (voice, cello, bassoon), and dog lover. His partner of 43 years is an Episcopal priest.
