Natalie is passionate about patient care and nursing. She has served patients in cardiac care and administration, and in her most recent role as a clinical quality leader, she educated other providers about how to improve patient care from a population perspective. This role sparked her interest in her current position as a nurse practitioner with the Population Health Department.

Natalie joined UVA Health in 2022 and looks forward to partnering with recently discharged patients to improve their health and avoid another hospital readmission. She completed her undergraduate and master’s programs at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2014. Inspired to be able to do more for her patients, she went back to school and obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2020. She is a published researcher in the Journal for Nurse Practitioners for her work on improving inappropriate antibiotic prescribing in the acute care setting.

A fun fact about Natalie is that she has an identical twin sister who is a nurse practitioner in Chicago, and her twin has a set of twins. And Natalie recently gave birth to twin boys in March of 2022. She loves playing with her three-year-old daughter and twin boys, as well as planning fun vacations with her spouse.
