Kelly began her career in health care in 2003 and became a registered nurse in 2006. Her background includes Neuro intensive care at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. She also worked at UVA’s Neuro ICU and step-down unit before transitioning to Population Health in 2016. In early 2020, she was certified in Care Coordination and Transition Management (CCCTM), and in July 2022, she completed a Master’s in Nursing Informatics. Kelly believes in lifelong learning for continued growth and education. 

Kelly is one of the nurses who monitors the vital signs dashboard for all Population Health programs and follows up with patients as needed. She also coordinates communication between patients and their providers to ensure long-term success after program completion. She is an advocate for preventive care through primary care and encourages this behavior for the patients she serves.

During her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her flowers, gardens, and animals.
