George Lindbeck, MD, received his medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at University of Virginia.

Lindbeck is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, Director of Emergency Medical Services Fellowship and serves as the Commonwealth of Virginia, State EMS & Trauma Systems Medical Director. He is affiliated with the Thomas Jefferson EMS Council and Shenandoah National Park and with fire departments and emergency and rescue squads in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties.

Lindbeck's clinical and research interests include EMS education and training from the Board Certified EMS perspective, early application of life support measures and the impact on patient care, and the impact of medical transportation decisions at the initial point of care.
