Mark P. Chabot R.Ph. MHA. MBA.

                                     (Pharmacy Services Automation Supervisor)

Mr. Chabot graduated from Butler University in 1981 and then accepted a position with the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he later became the IT Supervisor.

He joined the University of Virginia Medical Center's Pharmacy Department in 1997 as Automation Supervisor. During his tenure at UVA he has overseen the upgrading of almost every one of the department's major automated systems and devices. This list includes, but is not limited to, two Pyxis system-wide upgrades, the installation and upgrading of several robotic systems, the relocation and establishment of the Outpatient pharmacy and a number of other major projects.  

Mark has been and continues to be a driving force behind the departments continued growth and development in technology.

In addition to his work with the University, he has also held the position of Web Master for VSHP (Virginia Society of Health Pharmacists) since 2000 and, in order to maintain his professional skill level, has worked as a part-time staff pharmacist with Kroger.

Mr. Chabot received his double masters in Business and Health Administration from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte North Carolina.
