SPECIMEN REQUIREMENT: Fresh material from early morning deep cough secretions in a clean, screw top hard plastic container with NO fixative added.
TESTING SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 15:30. Turnaround time: 2 working days.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Do NOT submit saliva, nasal secretions or 24-hour sputum collections. A series of sputum samples on three to five consecutive mornings is recommended for cancer detection.
