ED Cardiovascular Care Committee Orientation Class
The ED Cardiovascular Care Committee Orientation Class discusses
initial care of patients with suspected acute coronary syndrome.
While is it designed primarily for in-hospital providers, much of the care is also
relevant or of interest to pre-hospital providers.
The class is 3.5 hours long, from 1530-1900, with sections on:
-Pharmacology
-Risk stratification
-Monitor/defibrillator usage
-General principles of care
-Simulation of initial care
-STEMI Showdown
