ASPIRE Behavior Ratings Guide

FY19 Leadership Appraisal Structure & Weighting

The Leadership Appraisal will be structured into two (2) equally weighted (50% each) sections:  Goals & ASPIRE Values

    1.  Goal Section:  50% overall weight

    • Required:  Minimum of three (3) to a maximum of five (5) SMART goals entered and leader approved; all nurses at all levels are required to have one (1) of these goals in the category of Professional Development; this category is optional for non-nurses
    • Approved goals will automatically be imported into the appraisal's goal section at time of appraisal launch (06/01/19)
    • Required:  Rating applied to each goal in the section, based upon the 3-point rating scale
    • Supporting examples of goal achievement should be included

     2.  ASPIRE Section:  50% overall weight

    • Required:  Rating applied to each of six (6) values, based upon the 3-point rating scale
    • Supporting examples of demonstrated level (rating) of value behaviors should be included 

FY19 Nursing CCL Appraisal Structure & Weighting

The Nursing Clinical Ladder Appraisal will be structured into three (3) sections:  Goals, Clinical Ladder Behaviors & ASPIRE

            1.  Goal Section:  50% overall weight

    • Required:  Minimum of three (3) to a maximum of five (5) SMART goals entered and leader approved; one (1) goal is required in the category of Professional Development
    • These approved goals will automatically be imported into the appraisal's goal section at time of appraisal launch (06/01/19)
    • Required:  Rating applied to each goal in the section, based upon the 3-point rating scale
    • Supporting examples of goal achievement should be included

     2.  Clinical Ladder Behaviors Section:  25% overall weight

    • Required:  Rating applied to each of six (6) ladder behaviors, based upon the 3-point rating scale
    • Required:  Supporting examples of any demonstrated level (rating) of ladder behaviors

     3.  ASPIRE Section:  25% overall weight

    • Required:  Rating applied to each of six (6) values, based upon the 3-point rating scale
    • Supporting examples of demonstrated level (rating) of value behaviors should be included 

FY19 All Other Team Member Appraisal Structure & Weighting
