Who is eligible to refer?

To be eligible for the referral incentive, the referring employee must be an active employee or team member of the Medical Center (Agency 209), School of Nursing, University Physicians Group, Claude Moore Health Sciences Library or School of Medicine at the time the referral is made and at the time the award is granted.

Team Members of Medical Center Human Resources and Medical Center Management are not eligible to receive rewards through this program. Hiring supervisors and supervisors referring applicants for position in their own department are also ineligible to receive the referral incentive. In addition, team members who represent the Medical Center at a recruitment event will not be eligible for a referral incentive for applicants that are recruited during that event.

Who is eligible to be referred?

The referred Registered Nurse applicants MUST possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and have a minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Registered Nurse with a special focus on critical care, acute care and perioperative services.

The referred Pharmacist applicants MUST have a minimum of three (3) years inpatient hospital experience or equivalent Pharmacy Residency (PGY-1/PGY-2). 

The referred applicant may not have previously responded to published advertisements, have been referred through employment agencies, or have an application on file with Medical Center Human Resources for one (1) year prior to referral.

Former employees who have worked for the Medical Center or the Academic Division of the University in any capacity within two (2) years prior to referral are ineligible to be considered as referred applicants.
