INFORMATION AND RESEARCH

THE IMPACT OF MINDFULNESS ON BRAIN, HEALTH AND OVERALL WELLBEING:

Harvard Study: “Eight Weeks to a better brain”   Participants were involved in an 8 week mindfulness course and practiced an average of 27 minutes a day and achieved positive results.

  • Tara Brach, PhD author of “Radical Self-Acceptance”  Has many free AUDIO and VIDEO teaching talks, guided meditations and podcasts.  Teachings are rooted in Buddhism, but many find our ecumenical.  Has 10 to 24 minute guided meditations is scroll down slightly on her page.  Also if you click on any of the years, there her weekly talks and guided meditations are listed per year.
