The annual meeting of the Virginia Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (VASPEN) will take place on November 9 & 10, 2012 at the Sheraton Roanoke Hotel and Conference Center in Roanoke, Virginia. Several of our UVA colleagues will be presenting at the conference.  The UVA speakers include:

  • Kate Willcutts, MS, RD, CNSC--Effectively Communicating with Physicians
  • Ana Abad-Jorge, MS, RD, CNSC -- Nutrition Management of the Critically Ill Pediatric Patient
  • Amy Berry, MS, RD, CNSC--Complications and Nutritional Considerations Post-Whipple
  • Joe Krenitsky, MS, RD and Robert Sawyer, MD, CNSP -- Point/Counterpoint: ARDS-Specific Enteral Feeding

As always, the VASPEN planning committee has worked hard to put together a great program. Many of our team members and colleagues will be attending, and we hope to see some of you there!

Full information on the program is available at: www.nutritioncare.org/Chapters (click on ASPEN Events Calendar) under Chapter Meetings.
