Several of our UVA colleagues will be presenting at the upcoming meeting of the Virginia Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (VASPEN).  The conference will be held on November 11 & 12, 2011 at the Sheraton Park South in Richmond, Virginia.  The UVA speakers include:

  • Kate Willcutts, MS, RD, CNSC--What and when to feed after surgery: Time to move on
  • Mary Simmons, RD--Nutrition following weight loss surgery: Are our patients losing more than weight?
  • Eugene Corbett, MD, FACP--Fluid and electrolytes: Case problem-solving
  • Carol Parrish, MS, RD--Intestinal flora: Friend, foe, or both?

Some of our team members and colleagues have also served on the VASPEN planning committee for the program and have worked hard to put together a great conference!  We hope to see some of you there!
