Nutrition Support Blog: Now Registering for Spring Training Programs

Spring is a great time to visit Charlottesville!  We invite you to join us in Charlottesville this Spring for one of our upcoming Nutrition Support Training Programs!

The "Weekend Warrior" Mini-Traineeship Program will be held on March 16-17, 2013.  The goal of this program is to provide as much practical up-to-date information as is possible in a weekend course.  Topics will include: Evidence Based Medicine, Enteral Nutrition, Fluid and Electrolytes, Nutrition Support in the ICU, Feeding the Post-Surgical Patient, Protein and Calorie Determination, Parenteral Nutrition, Searching PubMed as well as ample time for questions, answers, and open discussion.  Early registration date is January 16th. We also have two week-long Nutrition Support Traineeship sessions available for the Spring.  The UVA adult Nutrition Support Traineeship Program is a unique, five-day opportunity to achieve a higher level of practice in adult nutrition support.  Available session dates are:

April 15-19 

May 6-10
